The Alpine Renault A310 1600 VG was a variant of the early A310 models, produced in the 1970s as part of Alpine’s transition from pure rally machines to more refined sports cars. It retained the lightweight fiberglass body and mid-engine layout while incorporating technical improvements to enhance performance and drivability.

Powered by a 1,605 cc inline-four engine from the Renault 16 TS, the A310 1600 VG delivered around 127 horsepower.
